When the song THE END was composed, we Barafoetida dedicated the song to a dystopian near future where all the world population lived in their homes, communicating only through the internet between them. In the song we did not indicate what was the reason for such segregation, leaving it to each listener's imagination. Certainly ours was a criticism of humanity that had allowed this to happen to itself, without fighting, without a spark of pride but only sad acceptance. We would never have imagined that in a short time what we written it would become reality and that , together with all the others, we would have been really forced to close ourselves in our homes and stay in isolation to escape the terrible invisible threat that has so radically changed our lifestyle and keeps us in extreme anxiety. But contrary to what we said in the song, the current isolation is and will be on the contrary our salvation. Isolate ourselves to isolate the virus so that it can become extinct without finding inert and unaware victims anymore.Thanks to social networks, we are not totally isolated, we can talk to each other and take courage from each other, patiently waiting for the threat to pass Other people such as doctors, nurses and all those who work tirelessly so that our world does not collapse, must and have our deepest thanks. They are true heroes as we are who only by staying at home contribute to the great battle against our enemy So we say that this time STAYING AT HOME is not a bad thing but a duty that we must all pay for ourselves, for our loved ones, for our country, for the whole world. Quando il brano THE END fu composto, noi Barafoetida dedicammo la canzone ad un distopico futuro prossimo dove tutta la popolazione mondiale viveva reclusa nelle proprie abitazioni,comunicando solo attraverso internet tra loro.Nel brano noi non indicammo quale fu il motivo di simile segregazione ,lasciandolo alla immaginazione di ciascun ascoltatore.Di certo la nostra era una critica all'umanità che aveva permesso che ciò accadesse a se stessa, senza combattere ,senza un moto di orgoglio ma solamente triste accettazione.Mai avremmo immaginato che in poco tempo quello che noi immaginavamo sarebbe divenuto realtà e che noi stessi, assiame a tutti gli altri, saremmo stati costretti realmente a chiuderci nelle nostre abitazioni e stare in isolamento per sfuggire alla terribile minaccia invisibile che ha così radicalmente cambiato il nostro stile di vita e ci tiene in estrema ansia.Ma al contrario di ciò che dichiaravamo nella canzone ,l'isolamento attuale è e sarà al contrario la nostra salvezza .Isolarci per isolare il virus in modo che possa estinguersi senza più trovare vittime inerti ed inconsapevoli.Grazie ai social non siamo totalmente isolati,possiamo parlarci e farci coraggio l'un l'altro ,aspettando pazientemente che la piena passi,mentre altre persone come medici,infermieri e tutti coloro che lavorano incessantemente perchè il nostro mondo non crolli,devono e hanno il nostro più sentito ringraziamento.Essi sono dei veri eroi come lo siamo noi che solo restando in casa contribuiamo alla grande battaglia contro il nostro nemico.Allora noi diciamo che questa volta RESTARE A CASA non è un male ma un dovere a cui tutti noi dobbiamo prestarci per noi ,per i nostri cari , per il nostro paese ,per il mondo intero.Che il titolo del brano THE END non sia un lapidario epitaffio ma un augurio di un veloce e lieto finale-DISTANTI COL FISICO.UNITI CON LO SPIRITO.
